Ashley's Post- What did we do???

Sooo, well don't hate us because we really have some very good reasons for doing what we are doing...ummm let me think of them...
1. Our waterfall leaks so we have to fill our pond once a week, it is massive and very expensive
2. The bugs are DISGUSTING and we can't get rid of them since the pond is HUGE
3. This is the ultimate reason, we think it's making our baby girl a little bit sick :( Which means, die pond, die.
Don't worry, we are going to build another one! With my amazing husband this will be no problem at all and it will turn out looking better than ever because I will now have a patio, yay. He's drawn me pictures and everything and I just nod and say, okay, yeah that sounds great, because really, have you met Cole? His plans will keep changing until the day it is actually finished. Really, I knew this when I married him so don't worry, I know it will look wonderful. He's my hero...mostly because he can do no wrong after destroying those hideous juniper bushes in the previous blog. That will earn him my undying love for the next 6 years since he took out 6 of those devil's spawn.

Ummm, well this a first phase picture...
Please be nice! This is phase two...Really, it will look wonderful! The pond took up about 1/4 of the yard before so now we will have more lawn for the baby girl. She has been wandering around trying to figure out why we are taking away her beloved pond, but she really doesn't care because she gets to run after dirt. Sigh, she wanted me to show everyone photos of her also so here are some that she chose.


This is from when she was clean. She wanted me to add this so that you would all leave happy after seeing what we were doing to our yard. She knew that if you could see her when she was clean and lovely, then you would have to forgive her mommy and daddy.
