Calm water is important with the little jon. That wasn't a problem today.
A little over 23". Between 4-5 lbs. It took me probably 5 minutes to land this fish. I don't have a net and had to tire the fish out enough to be able to grab it with one hand and flip it in the boat.
It is probably twice the size of my first Klamath Lake trout. The best part was getting the skunk off my boat. I still need a good boat name though. I probably need a few more successful trips before I can really understand my boats personality to properly name it.

Where lake/river did you catch it at?
Why didn't we get a couple of these when we were fishing two weeks ago?
