Weekend with no Ashley = sad

To take my mind off missing my amazing better half the day was pretty full.

It started with a roof stripping project at a church friends house that lasted a little longer than anticipated, but did get finished despite the heat. After a great lunch from Tammy (thanks again) and a few errands my day was actually an evening.

I did manage to can some strawberry jam. I think it may have even turned out right. Thanks to mom for the help over the phone and a shout out to anyone that cans stuff… because it’s a mess.

I also got my new tires and wheels in the mail (yesterday admittedly). After a great highway ride from the previous post I decided to take the plunge on a street setup I had been eyeing. The tires are new, but the rims are used and give me a second set to run when riding lots of pavement.
