Progress is being made on the “garage”! Exciting times around here. It’s been fun watching all of the huge trucks get to our house…and find out the different ways that they get lost. New signage is definitely a must-have for the future. After Cole’s excavation fun and help from his mom and dad, we were able to get forms in, then rebar:
After that it was in with the base cement layer:
Next came the blocks:
And then some cement filler:
Cole is working on laying draining tube outside of it and plumbing the drain for his sink. We hope to get gravel tomorrow and then it’s on to starting some floor, walls, and trusses! What a nice, big “garage” it’s going to be.
