She knows that if her cooler and leash are out, she is coming along...
and that she can see better if she stands just so.
She wasn't too excited about being on a leash.
Digging rocks. Why did we drive out here to do this?
After the dirt is sifted, we hope to find Sunstones.
Wide open and quiet!
The ground is littered with small fragments of clear Sunstones. The ground seemed to sparkle. We actually found more looking through the run off of seasonal flooding.
Our sunset was a little boring as the clouds rolled in.
This is a nearby mining operation. Apparently if you pay them money, they will dig the rocks for you... seems to defeat the purpose of the outing for us. Maybe they are the smart ones though.
Hart Mt was amazing. Maybe more so because of the huge thunderstorm that we watched.
