August Happenings 1

The fires around here have been crazy. Luckily, Klamath hasn’t seen any large ones, but the ones from the Medford area have been bringing in a large amount of smoke. My lovely momma has been working on them, so I knew the problem would be taken care of soon.
In the meantime, Cole caught a shot of a helicopter taking water to one of the lightning fires. Pretty weird to think that the water bucket is about the size of a refrigerator.

Despite, or possibly because of, the fires and smoke, the deer have been coming around more. They typically stay away from the houses right now because of their babies, but Cole was able to get a couple pictures of them visiting us once again. He also had a crazy encounter with a herd of elk right next to the house the other day. I’m still waiting for my first look of them since he’s seen them a couple times.

We planned a trip to Medford yesterday to take care of random projects and finally picked up 3 stools for our bar! Yes, we have been in our house for a year and this is the first time that we have been able to sit at our bar. I am so excited to have people come over so we can put them to use while I cook.
