While the first picture was taken on the way home from camping the previous weekend, it was too cute not to share. My two babies falling asleep together in the car.
This picture is obviously from the 4th as Miss Gracie is wearing her spirit bandana.
Cole worked a fire on the night of the 4th that was started by fireworks. Apparently all of the warnings about it being incredibly dry out still don’t matter to some people. A great photographer in town caught the blaze.
Even after his night of wildland firefighting, Cole was up to traveling to Bend to play in the water and sun with his family. We took the kayak with us and lounged around, then went out to dinner with the family. Gracie chose to stay in the comfort of her home, so I wasn’t able to get another shot of the two of them napping on the way home.
Sunday was a lounge day around the house but I took off Monday so we could find some more water. About 20 minutes from our house is a great area to take the canoe out and swim, so we took full advantage.
