Kayaking at Rockwood

We’ve had a huge amount of rain lately, which has filled in the ditch below our house more than we’ve ever experienced. Cole had the great idea to take the kayak down and float around in it and Gracie and I just couldn’t resist joining.

Gracie was absolutely thrilled and was pretty much freaking out that she could walk out her door and play in the water.

The pond actually drained even further down the hill and had a creek going that she had to run in for about a mile before running back in it again. She also got some diving in, which is always a highlight for her.
