What a past week! (by wife)

I decided to get to it and update our blog so that you know what had been going on...prepare for a ton of pictures. My bestest friend ever came over on Tuesday of last week to house and puppy sit for us while we made the visiting rounds. First Cole and I drove to Albany to get his tux for Mike's wedding, then we went to Salem to get my ring cleaned, then Dallas for Ashley's bachelorette party, which was awesome. Her family is incredible and I instantly got along with them so I had a complete blast. I also got to wear some really great clothes and ROCKIN' shoes that I never get to wear here so that was a huge highlight. That night I picked up Cole from Independence where he was spending time with Haus and I found Cole waiting for me on the side of the road with a tire...that should be unusual but really, it's not. Then it was to Lebanon for the night. Thursday Cole picked strawberries while I helped Ashley out with some wedding stuff. Then it was the rehearsal and dinner in Silverton, back to Lebanon and to bed. On Friday we went out for Geron and I's birthday breakfast in some town Brenna's afraid of. Then I had the best idea, if I'm going to be at the nursery anyway, why not make some money??? Really it mainly had to do with the fact that Geron had to work so why not me too so that I wouldn't sit inside and pine for her. So I got decked out in some major rain gear to do some weed whacking...why was I wearing rain gear you ask? Well, it just so turns out that they have exploding plants!!! Man, in another life how much would you love to be one? Just think about it, someone comes around to kill you and you get to spew white sticky goop all over them! COOL! Well, gross, but cool. Then back to Silverton to meet up with Cole's friend then to the wedding at The Oregon Garden. Here's a picture of us:
I know, I know, I colored my hair and look completely different.

We then went to La Pine to meet up with my family for a family reunion which was a ton of fun because I never get to see my TN family, who rock :) My daddy also got me/Gracie a birthday present (her birthday was Saturday), he got us some camo collars with her name stitched in! COOL! These are going to be her off-roading collars and then her pink one I am hoping to also get her name stitched into for her everyday collar. You think she is spoiled? Her gma and gpa just got me/her a $50 gift card for Petco!!! When we got back to K Falls Melly and I went and made sure that we put it to good use refilling her toy box. I also bought her a new couch from Costco today for her so stay tuned for that.
Tuesday I took off work and Cole, Melly and I went to the caves. We went into a really intense one called the catacombs and got almost all the way through, which took about 2+ hours. I completely bashed my knee, yet again but it was totally worth it! We had such a great time!!! Cole did tell me that for someone with such a shoe fetish I really need to retire my favorite shoes and maybe get some use out of the other ones...*sigh, here is a tribute to them:

My co-workers got me flowers and balloons for my birthday today! I should feel bad that they feel like they need to do this because I make such a massive deal out of my birthday, but really I don't feel bad at all because I love doing it for their's just as much :) Aren't they so sweet?!

Here's the last picture. Gracie and I were playing around in the car while Cole was in the store. Does she look like she thinks her mommy is crazy? That's what I thought too. Oh well, at least her crazy mommy buys her lots of things.
