So our yard has received all of our attention since we moved in. We have not even lived here a year and have already changed a huge amount of things. Not even knowing what a great decision it would turn out to be, we bought our house with the exact interior that we wanted (meaning the perfect kitchen). Yes, I have changed the paint in the house, but we have not done anything but that, it's all exterior work. So, having an awesome job, I came home early today and Cole and I got to spend the rest of the day together. Brammer came over with his mom and brother on their way to Cali just to check out the house and say hi so that was a really nice little visit. Then Cole and I pretty much walked around like chickens with our heads cut off looking around the backyard and not knowing what to do...so we made window boxes!
Cole had already made these but we hadn't gotten around to putting them up so we bought some flowers, along with wasp spray for the little stinging devils, and got to it. So far we have one on my kitchen window,
And one on the living room window, well two, but you get it. Next I want one on my bedroom window and I will be set. Other than that, things have been wonderful, amazing enough we still like to spend a ton of time together, which is a great thing because our friends aren't here...well, actually maybe that's not good, we like each other too much to need to make other friends...YIKES, we need to think that through more!
