We're back! We got back Tuesday night from a week long trip to Mexico that Cole's parents graciously took us on :) My best friend Melly came over on Sunday to be our puppysitter and Cole and I drove to Medford on Monday night to stay in a hotel so we didn't have to deal with trying to go over the pass at the buttcrack of dawn on Tuesday. We also did a stay and fly type thing where if you stay one night you get to leave your car at the hotel and they shuttle you to and from the airport. It was then off to LA to meet up with his family, then on to Mexico. Our days were spent going to the beach, eating beans and salsa, reading, kayaking for Cole, eating beans and salsa, fishing for Cole, reading, snorkeling...

...eating beans and salsa, going on a hike to see cave painting...and oh wait...eating beans and salsa :) The hike was a ton of fun as we went through a canyon and got to spend the whole day outside.

There was a lot more all wrapped up into that, but honestly, all I can remember is the beans and salsa, which I'm sure the rest of them would also tell you. I'll never eat salsa from a jar again, it's only fresh from now on. Anyway, we made our way home the following Tuesday, Cole and I got to Medford at about 10:30pm...and then I proceeded to make him take me to Taco Bell...sorry but I was greatly in need of some beef (or form of it). Don't worry, I also made sure I had mac and cheese the next day...while Mexico is great...there are some comforts of home a girl has to have. We got back to Klamath a little bit before midnight and had our welcoming committee jumping all over us, giving us kisses and lecturing us about leaving her at home. We had some much needed sleep that night in our own bed, got up in the morning and washed all the Mexico off us and started off new at home again...which Gracie proceeded to give us an even better treat by getting sprayed in the face by a skunk...welcome back to the joys of puppy-parenthood...
