Painting!

Cole and I aren't what you would call "stylish" people. We generally don't have up-to-date taste in anything, while this doesn't mean that our taste is bad...it's just nothing you would see in magazines these days. We enjoy who we are (and usually are too busy :) ) to try and learn what's current or cool, which is why my closet has the same colors in it that it did 10 years ago. This is also why we had to have someone come over to help us pick out a color for our walls in our living room. We wanted green...but as you probably know, green can go very wrong. So she came over, we picked out the color...and proceeded to paint for 8 hours straight...
Cole did the paintbrush parts while I had the roller
We completely love the end result, it's much more warm and cozy compared to the previous gray nightmare. Cole also made trim that matches the wood ceiling in there. It goes throughout the entire living room, into the hallway, then into the entryway
I'm still getting a 20x30 canvas to go on a shelf on this wall
I painted the entryway twice because the cream color made us have 3 colors meeting on one corner
I also did the hallway while Cole was doing the faux finish on all of the living room walls
We're very happy with the results and are wondering what's on the agenda now...an in ground pool? Just kidding!

I like it - do you want a green couch or love seat?

? Do you have one you don't want or something? A loveseat would be perfect!
